In Scarisbrick's Dam Wood, a stunning private woodland, we host our Forest School.
The rhythms of the children and the surroundings guide our daily schedule.
We provide the kids the freedom to play, explore, and just be themselves while interacting with nature.
We've established up camps in the woods where we help kids with their play and learning and give them the freedom to be as inventive as their imaginations will allow.
Our days are run by the children, and we don't give them "things" to do.
Therefore, we made the decision to open an outdoor nursery/forest school with a focus on being outside, appreciating nature, learning through play, and being able to adapt to the needs of the child holistically.
Our Forest School Nursery opened in 2014, and we have been operating Into The Ark since 2012.
