I am so pleased to be your Acting Headteacher!
I have previously taught in London, Bangkok (in a British International School) and for the last few years in Bristol. I have always taught in Early Years and I love the opportunity to do this in a Nursery School. Bristol only has twelve Nursery Schools and every one of them is unique and does an outstanding job in very challenging financial circumstances. Being a Head of a Nursery School means that I get to work closely with all the families and have the privilege of being with the children and watching them as they grow and learn over their time with us.
I cannot do this job alone however, and I am backed up with an amazing team of experienced and enthusiastic professionals who only want the best for the children that we teach and nurture. They always have a 'can do' attitude and like the children here, they never stop learning. I am helped with Jake the Therapy Dog too, although sometimes he isn't always the most obedient member of staff and often sneaks off to have a sleep in the middle of the day
Ilminster has been providing the best for Knowle West since 1936 and we are here to serve our community for many more years, but we know it is impossible to do this without our parents and carers. My door is always open and if there is anything you need to ask or any help you can provide for us, then please pick up the phone or come and knock on our door as we will be pleased to hear from you.
Yours Sincerely
