Indoor and Outdoor Facilities: Children enjoy playing in the refurbished outdoor area. They learn to balance as they step on the blocks and test their coordination skills as they ride the wheeled toys.

The Pre-School offers roomy, well-equipped facilities and is located in Poulton Hey, Chorley Way Spital. All other staff members have NVQs in early childhood education and care and/or playwork and participate in CPD programmes to learn best practises. Every member of the crew is certified in paediatric first aid. All of the staff members are DBS Enhanced Disclosure holders and have previous experience working with children in other contexts, such as uniformed groups and children's clubs. Relief personnel, who are once again competent and experienced teachers, help the preschool. Equal opportunity (including for children with special needs), encouraging health and cleanliness, admissions and settling in, important people, protecting children, complaints system, behaviour management, child records, etc. All policies are visible at Pre-school and copies are accessible upon request.
