Children can learn through play in a welcoming, secure, and community-focused setting at Hickling Pre-School.
The Pre-School was first formed in 1967 and is a registered charity.
It is always changing to satisfy the demands of the local parents and kids.
The Hickling Village Preschool is housed at the Village Hall in Hickling, Nottinghamshire, which is located in the Vale of Belvoir just beyond the boundary with Leicestershire.
It serves kids ages 2 to 5 and has a close relationship with Kinoulton Primary School.
Staff are trained in safeguarding and we commit to keeping your child safe in line with Local Safeguarding Children Board procedures.
One of the benefits of the community setting is that staff are all local and build relationships with the children that endure throughout their younger years.
Every Wednesday afternnon, we conduct a session for kids who will be entering big school in the fall.
Children can establish friends with their future primary school classmates and attend Kinoulton Primary School as part of the more structured curriculum, which helps them adjust to the change.
Children who participate in the class will practise a letter of the week each week.
Visit the Facebook page for more information on the current Letter of the Week.
