Communication: Staff talk to parents about children's care and invite them in to 'stay and play' sessions.

Community Building: Parents are very happy with the provision. They comment that their children ask to come and don't want to leave.

Programs and Resources: Staff work closely with a range of other professionals. Key persons for children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities attend meetings and training sessions to help them meet children's individual needs.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: Staff are good role models and place a high priority on promoting positive behaviour. They give children plenty of praise for their achievements.

Safeguarding Training: Staff have a strong understanding of the procedures to follow if they have any concerns about children's welfare.

Play and Learning Integration: Most children choose to play outside for much of the session. This helps them to develop many new skills such as climbing, balancing and riding wheeled toys.

Transition to Primary School: Children are beginning to understand early mathematical concepts. They sort, count and recognize numbers as they play. Children make good progress and develop all of the key skills to prepare them for the next stage in their education.

Child Safety Management: Staff gently remind children how to share and take turns, providing them with skills they need to manage their feelings and behavior in social situations.

Happiness and Settling: Children are well mannered and learn to behave well. Children form strong attachments to the adults caring for them.

Nutritional Menu: Children benefit from nutritious snacks.
