Based in Hartsholme in Lincoln, the Hartsholme Pre-school and Kids Club. We are affiliated with Hartsholme Academy and cooperate with it to offer young children early years and all-around care. The nursery provides care from 7:30am to 6:00pm for kids aged 2 to 5. Ages 4 to 11 are served by the Breakfast and Afterschool Club, which offers interesting and exciting activities before and after school. In September 2015, Hartsholme Pre-school and Kids Club merged with Heath Farm Day Nursery.
How Hartsholme Pre-School and Kids Club runs its day.
The children can choose whether they want breakfast when they arrive between 7:30 and 8:30 am. After that, they will have unstructured playtime both indoors and outside while scheduled activities last until 9am. The preschoolers and toddlers will then divide into their own rooms while the bigger kids head off to school. After all the kids arrive at 9:15 a.m., we'll have circle time or small group time to say hello to everyone who has come to play. For the kids who would want a quick snack, we provide one from 10:30 to 10:30 a.m. After that, the kids are free to roam both inside and outside while participating in structured activities. At twelve o'clock we all gather in our rooms for dinner. The kids will have some downtime after dinner so they can read a book or, if necessary, catch up on some sleep. After that, we will continue to provide free flow throughout the day. When we pick up the older kids from school at 3:30 p.m., the toddlers and preschoolers join us for tea at 4 p.m. Then, until they are gathered, both rooms will offer a variety of indoor and outdoor activities.
