Children between the ages of 9 months and 5 years old are welcome at the full-day Happy Days Nursery, which also provides sessional care.
Since Nicole Sturman, Mrs. Weidner's daughter, and Jenny Weidner, a former deputy headteacher of an infant school in Westcliff, took over Happy Days in 2016, the nursery has remained in the Weidner family.
The goal of Happy Days Nursery is to make the transition from the family home to the nursery a happy one that is tailored to the specific requirements of each child and family.
We acknowledge that you are your kid's first and most important teacher, and we highly respect the information and insight you have about your child.
Prior to starting at the nursery, new students will have an online call (which presently replaces our home visits), which will allow practitioners to learn crucial information about your child and maybe observe them in a comfortable and familiar setting at home.
With this information, we can start making plans for your child's future learning and growth as well as a smooth transition into the nursery.
It is also a priceless opportunity for parents and professionals to talk about your child's needs, talents, and interests.
After that, we provide a free 2-hour visit before your kid arrives at the nursery so the key person can establish a connection with them.
Your kid will have the chance to play with other young children and nursery staff members during this time as well.
Collaboration between parents and professionals is essential.
Your kid will be able to feel safe and confident at the nursery as a result of this.
To ensure a seamless transition into nursery life, it is essential that you provide us with information about your child.
