Activities: Staff plan a good range of activities which help children to learn and develop. Children use chalks to draw pictures of dinosaurs and pretend to write their names.

Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Children's communication and language skills are well supported. They are developing an early understanding of using technology, for instance, as they play with electronic toys.

Communication: Staff successfully engage parents in their children's learning from the start. Ongoing sharing of information helps to support continuity in children's care, learning and development.

Community Building: Partnerships with parents are strong according to the feedback from parents during the inspection.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: The friendly staff team creates a relaxed atmosphere where every child is valued and supported effectively.

Safeguarding Training: All staff have high regard for children's safety. They have a good understanding of how to identify a child that may be at risk of harm and how to report any concerns.

Play and Learning Integration: Staff play with the children and introduce mathematical questions such as 'Which is the tallest wall?'.

Transition to Primary School: Children are developing the skills they need for their future learning and their eventual move to school.

Child Safety Management: They wash their hands before they eat and after using the toilet. Children benefit from fresh air and exercise daily and learn about crossing the road safely.

Children's Safety and Security: Children settle quickly into the very welcoming and stimulating environment.

Happiness and Settling: Children settle quickly. They move around the nursery confidently and make choices about their play.
