Welcoming and Professional Staff: Children are happy in this warm and welcoming nursery. There is an emphasis on creating a 'family feel'.

Safeguarding Training: The designated safeguarding leads fully understand their role and responsibilities in keeping children safe. Staff undertake regular training to help them to keep their knowledge and skills up to date.

Play and Learning Integration: Staff consistently help children to gain confidence in their abilities, e.g., use knife safely to cut fruit, climb steps & slide down slide.

Transition to Primary School: Transitions from nursery to school are smooth. Reception teachers are invited into the nursery to meet children in their own surroundings.

Diversity Management: Children who speak English as an additional language are supported well. Their understanding and use of English are rapidly improving.

Child Safety Management: Staff carry out regular checks of the indoor areas and the garden to ensure that they are free from hazards.

Children's Safety and Security: Children demonstrate that they feel safe as they snuggle into staff for cuddles. Close bonds are evident.
