From the Halesowen Day Nursery Ltd
Halesowen Day Nursery offers full daycare, play, and education for infants and young children from 6 weeks to school age. It is a friendly, compassionate, family-oriented, professionally administered early years setting.
We are a reputable early years setting that feels like a home away from home and are ideally placed for all important commuter routes.
Halesowen Day Nursery is owned and managed by me, Sarah Walker.
We are a part of the Halesowen Township Network, Dudley's Go for Green Project, and Dudley's Good and Outstanding Network, all of which promote and exchange great practises within the Borough.
Every child is regarded and treated equally as a person, with views and ideas that are valued and taken into consideration.
The kids are always involved in the various charitable projects in which we participate.
This increases their knowledge of the world and their capacity to have a good influence on it.
They are inspired to be sympathetic, kind, and responsible as they mature through this work.
We put a lot of focus on encouraging wholesome Christian attitudes and values.
HDN has close ties to a nearby church called Hasbury Christian Fellowship, which frequently brings puppet plays and children's stories to the organisation.
Parents are regarded and cherished as the children's primary educators, and we recognise the significance of including them in nursery life and maintaining as much continuity between nursery and home as possible.
To encourage wholesome interactions and open conversation, we maintain an all-encompassing "open door" policy.
Enrolling your child: Feel free to explore around the website, contact the school by phone with any questions, and schedule a visit so you and your child may have a tour.
Your spot is secured with an enrollment form and a commitment fee of $50.00.
Getting settled - At HDN, we recognise and cherish the importance of a smooth and well-supported transfer time.
Then, we provide a free, three-stage settling in process: Firstly, there is an allocated time for you to come and pay with your child at nursery, allowing it to become a place where your child feels you are comfortable too and somewhere familiar that you have played together.
Secondly, we offer a time for your child to play alone in their new playroom while you stay on site, and finally there is a longer session where you can leave your child at nursery for a trial session.
This is also supported by a welcome pack telling you and your child all you need to know about our wonderful nursery and the particular playroom they will be starting in.
