Dear Parents and Carers
Welcome to Guildford Nursery School and Children's Centre. We are delighted that you have chosen our school and look forward to welcoming your family.
Our centre is based on two different sites: York Road in Guildford opposite Waitrose,
and Hazel Avenue near to Christ's College, just a short distance from the centre of Guildford.
We were delighted that Ofsted rated us Good in November 2016. We are currently working very hard towards achieving an Outstanding rating next time the inspectors visit.
Our nursery school is a maintained school, which means that we have qualified teachers leading the teaching and learning, and we are very proud of our large, open and stimulating learning environments, which provide children with opportunities to investigate, learn and discover through a range of exciting experiences, both inside and outdoors.
We are a fully inclusive centre and welcome all children and families, working in partnership to enable each child to grow and develop to become confident, independent and ready for the next stage in their education.
In addition to our nursery, our children's centre provides a range of support, advice, workshops and training, which all families are welcome to access. Staff from the children's centre work closely with the nursery team for the benefit of all children and their families.
