Greenfields Childcare

In 2002, Greenfields Childcare obtained registration (previously known as Grasshoppers Pre-school and Dalton Out of School Club). The charity is managed by a group of unpaid volunteers. The location is housed in the single-story detached Greenfields Family Centre, a specially constructed facility. The environment meets the needs of students who attend Dalton School, St. Joseph's School, and neighbourhood schools for kids with special needs. Additionally, we enrol nearby youngsters in our pre-school programme. Any youngster is eligible to enrol in the holiday play programme. Children and families from all spheres of the neighbourhood are welcome at Greenfields Childcare.
A child-centered, varied, and interesting curriculum taught by a highly qualified and committed professional team will help children in our care reach their full potential in a happy and secure environment.

At Greenfields Childcare, we think that collaborative relationships between parents/caregivers and staff are the most effective way to support children's learning and development.
By having a thorough dossier of policies and procedures in place, many of which are adopted from the Pre-school Learning Alliances Policies for Early Years Settings (produced in consultation with Ofsted) and Out of School Club Alliance and are evaluated and/or updated annually, Greenfields Childcare aims to meet the above statement.
