Quick insights from ofsted Powered by AI

This insight was generated by AI, based on latest Ofsted report.

Indoor and Outdoor Facilities: Children enjoy plenty of fresh air and physical exercise. There are ample opportunities for children to strengthen their muscles. For example, babies use equipment to pull themselves up into a standing position. Toddlers enjoy chasing bubbles and learn how to ride bikes. Older children test out their physical abilities on different balancing and climbing equipment.
Activities: Children happily make choices and have fun as they engage in their play. For example, they access activities, such as craft, construction and role play.
Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Staff skilfully provide learning opportunities for children to talk about recent events. For example, children celebrate the King's coronation. They make crowns and castles from cardboard boxes. This supports learning about topics that children may not learn about elsewhere.
Communication: Parents gain daily updates about their child's day. They receive photographs of their learning and development on online platforms. This keeps parents informed about the activities that children are doing at nursery so they can extend this learning at home.
Welcoming and Professional Staff: Children are happy to attend this welcoming nursery. They show that they feel safe and secure as they play. Children are deeply engaged in their self-selected activities.
Safeguarding Training: Managers and staff have a secure understanding of how to keep children safe. They are aware of what actions to take if they have concerns about a child's safety or welfare. Managers provide opportunities for staff training in safeguarding. They confirm staff's knowledge through quizzes and questionnaires.
Play and Learning Integration: Children are deeply engaged in their self-selected activities. For instance, babies shriek with excitement as they explore textures and materials. Older children spend time practicing their writing skills.
Diversity Management: Staff support children's communication and language development well. Children who speak English as an additional language receive the support they need. For example, staff learn key words in various languages. This helps children to feel welcome from when they join the nursery.
Child Safety Management: Staff keep children under close supervision as they play, and complete regular checks on children who are sleeping.
Children's Safety and Security: Children are happy to attend this welcoming nursery. They show that they feel safe and secure as they play.
Happiness and Settling: Children are happy to attend this welcoming nursery. They show that they feel safe and secure as they play. Children are deeply engaged in their self-selected activities.

From the Green Roots
A nursery and pre-school offering a family-centered, holistic approach to childcare is called Green Roots.
Our sessions are made to minimise the flow of kids coming in and out of the building and to suit the needs of both the kids and their parents.
Although we do not impose a minimum number of sessions per week, we advise your kid to come to Green Roots at least twice per week so that their visits become a regular part of their schedule.
We will follow parental guidance, though, as you are the finest experts on your children.
A non-refundable fee of 40 and a refundable deposit of 150 per family are needed to reserve a space at Green Roots nursery & pre-school (see clause 6.8).
The Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, which enables children to reach their full potential, is explicitly incorporated into Green Roots' design.
Each child can have their own unique learning experience that is planned, documented, and shared with parents via our online system thanks to the EYFS framework and our educational philosophy.
You will always be able to keep tabs on your kid's development and progress.
The OFSTED structure and rules serve as a foundation for ensuring that daycare facilities offer the best possible child care.
In all areas, we received the highest mark of Outstanding at our most recent inspection in March 2018.
The journey and development of kids with special educational requirements or kids who speak English as a second language are also given special consideration.
Making Green Roots the best childcare nursery and pre-school in the South East is something we always strive to achieve.
We also recognise that selecting a nursery for your child is a challenging choice, and that you need to be certain that it will work for you and your family.
We build trusting relationships with parents to make sure we are giving your child the best care possible and welcome your comments.
