From the Great Chishill Nursery
The Nursery, located in the charming village of Great Chishill, has been operational since 1976. Many of the kids in our community-based setting are from the village itself. We also serve the nearby communities of Barley, Barkway, Little Chishill, Chrishall, Heydon, Elmdon, and Duddenhoe End, and we are conveniently located near Royston, Melbourn, and Fowlmere. When a child first enrols in the Nursery, our goal is to make them feel safe, happy, and secure so they can get the confidence to take advantage of the opportunities we present. We provide a stimulating environment where children's innate curiosity and interests are encouraged so that they can explore, learn, and grow through play. We aggressively promote politeness, generosity, and respect for everyone and everything. Social growth is equally crucial. The Nursery is located in the Cricket Pavilion. We are lucky to be next to a sizable playing field, which provides us with all the safe and secure outdoor space we could ask for. There is also a sizable secure parking lot that parents may use to drop off and pick up their children without risk. The Pavilion offers the kids a spacious, light-filled study environment thanks to recent renovations.
