Along with setting up interactive exhibits and materials that relate to children's specific interests, we make sure that open-ended resources are easily accessible to let kids express their resourcefulness, creativity, and imagination.
Our indoor and outdoor learning facilities are thoughtfully designed to promote kid autonomy, choice, and an innate love of learning.
When it comes to planning and evaluating each child, we use Anna Ephgrave's Planning in the Moment method.
Since tomorrow's leaders and decision-makers will be today's children, it is crucial that they understand their responsibility for safeguarding the environment and one another.
As a result, we work hard to present a curriculum that is strongly anchored in decency, equality, and encouraging a love of nature.
Our mission is to give children between the ages of 2 and 5 with outstanding care and opportunity in a setting that values each child as an individual.
We think that children's wellbeing, mental health, and self-esteem are fundamental to their ability to develop.
By appreciating the interests, experiences, and talents of each individual child, we hope to maintain the personal, social, and emotional needs of every child at the centre of our curriculum.
Children's early life experiences have an influence on their future performance, thus we feel it is our responsibility as educators to help kids gain the critical skills they will need to succeed in a world that is changing quickly.
We are adamant that children grow and develop most effectively when given the freedom and option to choose their own education with the assistance of a loving, knowledgeable, and committed team.
Through play that is generated by the child and observation of HOW they learn using the Characteristics of Effective Learning, we assist and monitor children's growth (playing and exploring, active learning and creating and thinking critically).
For planning, observation, and assessment, we have embraced the approach of planning in the moment.
We are fortunate to participate in three forest school sessions every week, both on and off-site, with a Level 3 trained Forest School Leader.
During the summer term, our preschoolers participate in the amazing Forest School programme at their school alongside the Reception class.
