It is without a doubt the most difficult and fulfilling job she has ever had. However, she had to decide where and who to leave her daughter with when it was time for her to resume her career. She soon realised that there were several nurseries to pick from, but it was difficult to find the best one for her family. She desired a setting that was secure without being confining, caring, varied, exciting, and supported each child's own growth and development. Every child is unique; because of this, their own personalities, aspirations, and interests need to be fostered and supported in various ways. She struggled to find a nursery that shared similar principles because she wasn't seeking for one that had a one-size-fits-all philosophy. They therefore made the decision to establish a nursery based on these essential principles in 2011 with the help of her husband James, his cousin Andrew, with whom he co-owns the garden business, and Michelle, our Childcare Director.
