Good as Gold is an OFSTED-approved full-day care pre-school nursery that can accommodate up to 49 children from 0 to 5 years old. It was founded in 1996 and is housed in a sizable detached home that is surrounded by grounds designed to mimic a home. The mission of Good as Gold is to deliver the best levels of childcare and pre-school education in a laid-back, joyful setting that is safe and secure and gives every child the chance to learn through play. Staffing at Good as Gold complies with legal requirements. 12 infants (0–2) can be accommodated in the baby room, with a staffing ratio of one to three. With a staffing ratio of 1:4 for toddlers under 2 and 1:8 for children ages 3 and older, the Toddler Suite can accommodate up to 37 kids. Our Head Teacher has a BA(Hons) in Early Years, all Key Persons have level 3 childcare certifications, and all staff are trained in child safety and have first aid certifications.
