Philosophy: It is currently working towards accreditation in the 'Curiosity Approach'.

Forest School Sessions: Older children toast marshmallows, learning how to keep themselves safe. Children grow their own plants and harvest them.

Activities: Children take part in drama and dance classes each week. Children explore the spaces available to them.

Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Children develop lots of new knowledge and skills over time.

Communication: Staff know children very well and plan learning to meet children's individual needs through regular discussions and meetings with parents.

Community Building: Parents shared their views of the nursery with the inspector.

Programs and Resources: The knowledgeable special educational needs and disabilities coordinator (SENDCo) works closely with other agencies to provide the support that children need.

Staff Training: Staff undertake a range of training to help them to develop their practice.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: Staff form close bonds with children and provide nurturing care.

Safeguarding Training: Staff have completed training in outdoor first aid in order to help keep children safe during outdoor forest activities.

Play and Learning Integration: Toddlers become highly engaged in their learning, as staff act out the story 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt'.

Diversity Management: Children who speak English as an additional language are well supported to learn English.

Child Safety Management: Staff know how to report any concerns they have and make sure children know who the designated safeguarding leads are within the nursery.

Children's Safety and Security: Children learn to identify when strangers are in the nursery and who are 'safe strangers'.

Teaching Personal Safety: Children are taught safety measures such as identifying strangers and using outdoor areas safely.
