At Galaxy Explorers we follow the EYFS which is the Early Years Statutory Framework from birth until the end of reception.
We implement the 7 areas of learning through planned, purposeful play, with a mix of child initiated (leading from the childs interest) and adult led activities.
With positive attachments through the key person role and an enabling environment, your child will grow, learn and develop in a safe, stimulating and fun setting.
We focus on the stage and ability of every child and support them in the 3 prime areas which are the basis for successful learning in the other 4 specific areas.
The 3 prime areas reflect the key skills and capacities all children need to develop and learn effectively and become ready for school.
We Use eyLog to engage parents and help them to understand their childs development on a more regular and real-time basis, through their childs learning journey.
To create a learning environment where children can develop their confidence and skills in expressing themselves; and to speak and listen in a range of situations.
Her aim is to make a positive difference to all children who are under her teams care and their families as well.
Kerry prides herself on being approachable, not just to children but parents alike.
Our Deputy Manager Trish started working in a nursery in Ireland from the age of 16 as part of a summer job and shes never looked back!
Trish went on to obtain an Early Childhood Care & Education degree at University and she has 13 years experience of working in a nursery setting.
Trish moved to London in 2015.
She also believes that building strong relationships with parents is key to the childs development in a nursery setting.
Bhavika is a co-owner of Galaxy Explorers.
Bhavika has over 17 years experience working in childcare.
She has worked both in the US as a nursery manager and as a nursery manager in London.
Bhavika shows a true passion for the work that she does and this can be verified by the parents as well as the children for whom she has been responsible.
She has won numerous awards and prizes in her previous employment including employee of the year across all nursery sites.
Unlike the rest of the management team Trisha is new to childcare.
