Fowlmere Playgroup

Since 1977, Fowlmere Playgroup has been a part of the neighbourhood.
Fowlmere Playgroup is a registered charity that has 20 kids ranging in age from 2 years old to school age enrolled. It is supervised by a committee of parents and friends who volunteer their time.
The playgroup staff plans their curriculum around the seven learning and development areas found in the early years foundation stage curriculum in collaboration with parent committee volunteers.
The children are given engaging activities that foster their imagination, independence, and self-confidence as well as assist them learn new skills in preparation for primary school.
There are presently three permanent employees working for Fowlmere Playgroup.
All employees receive First Aid training, and they also participate in a variety of training sessions and workshops throughout the year to expand their knowledge.
In January 2016, Jasmine began working at Fowlmere Playgroup, and in April 2018, she was promoted to manager.
Jasmine has only ever had experience working with young children.
In January 2017, Verity started working at Playgroup.
She has a son in kindergarten and a daughter in senior school.
As she neared the end of her Level 3 qualification, Ally joined Playgroup as a volunteer in September 2019 and became a permanent staff member in January 2021.
