Philosophy: The nursery implements the forest school ethos.

Activities: Children delight in writing their own resolution for the year ahead. They develop their physical dexterity as they decorate their work with glitter. Children enthusiastically build igloos together in the outdoor play area.

Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Staff skilfully question children to consider what igloos are made from and challenge their knowledge of how ice is made.

Communication: The views of children and parents are regularly gained to identify strengths and target areas for improvement. Staff build good relationships with parents.

Community Building: Parents speak highly of the club and appreciate the good care the staff provide.

Programs and Resources: Effective partnership working with other professionals ensures that children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: Children demonstrate emotional security with the caring and friendly staff. Staff are good role models.

Safeguarding Training: Staff have a strong knowledge of child protection issues and know who to contact should they have any concerns about a child's welfare.

Play and Learning Integration: Children make their own choices about what they would like to do. They concentrate for long periods on activities they choose for themselves.

Transition to Primary School: Children enjoy the time they spend at the club after their day in school. They say they like to meet up with their friends and enjoy playing outside.

Child Safety Management: Staff carefully supervise children and carry out safety checks to ensure children's safety and well-being.

Happiness and Settling: Children of different ages play happily alongside each other. They take turns and help each other.

Nutritional Menu: All food the staff provide is healthy and nutritious.
