In 2001, Footsteps Pre-School, the company's first location, opened in Bromham.
In addition to being friends and working as nursery nurses, Sarah and Sally, the owners and managers of Footsteps, were also parents of young children.
We saw an opportunity to launch our own business and provide the kind of childcare we desired for our own children but were unable to obtain with the closing of a preschool in Bromham.
In 2001, we launched Footsteps in the Bromham guide hall.
We didn't have our own location, but thanks to some incredible personnel and a stunning bluebell woods as a backdrop, we kept expanding.
In 2010, we had the chance to design, move into our own purpose-built space, add a baby room, and change our name to Footsteps Nursery.
Since the outset, we have used our education, practical experience, and firsthand understanding of child care to make Footsteps the greatest nursery for any child—and one to which we have already sent our own kids.
We have always received a Good rating from Ofsted, which speaks much about us.
At Footsteps, we have two kids with quite different personalities!
The kids can choose from a wide variety of activities, and the staff is friendly, considerate, and attentive to the kids' interests, constantly thinking of creative and entertaining methods to keep them entertained.
We adore the abundance of outdoor activities available and the fact that play is genuinely child-led.
We are overjoyed to have discovered Footsteps and have no qualms about recommending the nursery.
He now requests to attend preschool every morning.
