The family-run Field View Day Nursery was founded in 1995 by Margaret Hepworth, a licenced nurse and practitioner.
With three different aged/development base rooms for infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers, the facility can care for and educate up to 75 kids.
The Nursery is listed with Ofsted and received a GOOD rating during our most recent inspection in October 2016.
Learning about colours, counting, and writing names are only a small portion of a high-quality nursery education.
Early education emphasises a method for a wide preparation for life that goes beyond school-based curriculum and is more focused on training children's self-assurance, independence, and social skills.
At Field View, we think that giving kids the confidence to believe in themselves, build strong self-esteem, learn to try new things, and learn from their failures would help them achieve in their future academic endeavours.
Our Curiosity Method Accreditation, a contemporary early childhood approach that draws inspiration from Reggio, Steiner, Te Whariki, and Montessori, is presently being completed.
Our rooms are now more serene and neutral, utilising genuine materials like dressing tables, china cups and saucers, natural resources like leaves, pine cones, and plants, as well as treasures discovered at car boot sales or second-hand stores that they may not have seen before or had the opportunity to explore, such as vintage telephones, typewriters, or suitcases with learning invitations. All of these provide opportunities for awe and wonder and foster a sense of curiosity in children.
Additionally, we provide children with loose components and open-ended materials that encourage them to explore using all of their senses, solve problems, make decisions, ask questions, and make connections between what they already know and what they are learning for the first time.
We cater to children's interests, and our team of enthusiastic, devoted early childhood educators is committed to fostering children's wonder, astonishment, and curiosity throughout their time at Field View Day Nursery.
