At Emmer Green Kindergarten, we think that play and exploration are the best ways for kids to learn. We balance adult-led and child-initiated activities in the daily schedule of activities so that your kid can decide what they play with, how quickly they play, and whether they play alone or with others.
The Nursery is divided into four primary groups: Babies (Willows), Pre-Toddlers (Maples), Toddlers (Acorns), and Preschool (Chestnuts). Each group has its own daily schedule and is staffed by devoted professionals. Additionally, we have a private outdoor space with a separate section for our non-walkers.
Maples and Willows: The environment in Willows and Maples is stimulating and nurturing, and children follow their own pattern. Staff members have extensive training and experience, and they take the time to provide excellent care and educational opportunities. Children regularly engage in outdoor play. Children aged 3 months to 24 months are catered for in Willows, while those aged 12 months to 24 months are catered for in Maples.
1:3 for youngsters under 2 and 1:4 for those between the ages of 2-3 years.
Our knowledgeable and skilled staff adheres to the Early Years Foundation Stage's core components. You may anticipate a week filled with educational opportunities for your youngster.
The variety of teaching is vast. To promote independent learning and inspire kids to connect the developmental domains, we blend activities that are both adult-led and kid-initiated.
For under 3s, the ratio is 1:14, and for over 3s, it is 1:8.
