Since its modest beginnings in a local mother's living room in 1969, Ecclesall Pre-school has developed into its current position as a recognised member of the neighbourhood. The pre-school is run by a volunteer management committee, and OFSTED conducts inspections. The provision of Early Years Education was deemed to be Good in our most recent OFSTED report from June 2018. We pledge to help your children according to their unique needs and to collaborate closely with parents and other caregivers to promote the growth of each and every kid entrusted to our custody. Each session has a maximum of 26 kids and a high staff-to-kids ratio. This enables us to spend time with every child and promote their growth. We take great pride in our strong relationships with the neighbourhood preschools, which help students transition from pre-school to elementary school more smoothly. Although there is no such thing as a normal day at Ecclesall Pre-school, every day follows a predetermined plan to provide the kids a structure they rapidly get used to. During term time, the preschool is open for 38 weeks a year (please click here for more information about our opening hours). As long as there are openings in the session you require coverage for, we are also able to provide supplementary care during regular pre-school opening hours.
