EAYC Yeladeinu Nursery is an Orthodox Jewish kosher nursery that draws dedicated frum families that share a dedication to community engagement, continual learning, and religious development as well as to Shabbos, Yom Tov, Kashrus, and these other Jewish holidays.
The Early Years Foundations Stage Curriculum and an Orthodox Jewish Program are both followed by EAYC Yeladeinu Nursery.
Our excellent Kodesh programme is run by Suzy Levi, our deputy manager.
Every morning during circle time, kids learn their brachos and recite the Shema, Modeh Ani, Adon Olam, and Torah Tziva Lanu Moshe. We discuss the magnificent world that Hashem has made for us as well as the activities we will enjoy undertaking on that particular day. We emphasise the value of showing kindness to our friends, and we like exchanging Mitzvah letters.
We teach the parsha to the kids each week, using the Torah's life teachings as a guide. We paint artwork and enjoy a parsha-based quiz session.
Our favourite part of the week is the Shabbat celebration. As we get ready to usher in Shabbos, it's such a lovely time for all the kids, and the mood is fantastic. As Shabbos Mummy and Daddy, each girl and boy takes turns lighting the candles and saying Kiddush and Hamotzi. In addition to singing and dancing, we discuss the preparations for Shabbat.
From blowing the Shofar on Rosh Hashonah to lighting lights on Chanukah, we learn everything there is to know about the Jewish Chagim throughout the year. At the nursery, every Chag is a special occasion, and we are able to teach the kids about all the great things we do on the Chagim via play.
