In March 2013, Early Steps Day Nursery obtained its registration.
The nursery is located in the Kennington, London, parish hall of St. Wilfrid's Catholic Church.
For 51 weeks out of the year, the nursery is open from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
We are licenced to care for up to 36 kids between the ages of 0 and 8.
For children ages three and four, the daycare receives money to offer free early education classes.
All children have access to a large outdoor area that is open all day and offers a secure and stimulating space for kids to play and explore with a variety of toys and games.
A multifunctional room in the nursery serves as a sleep area, a sensory area, and a computer area for the after-school club.
We are a community-based nursery that provides services to the neighbourhood, and the children who attend it represent a diverse variety of cultures and countries in the displays and activities we offer.
Since the last inspection, the manager and staff group have increased the quality of the offering and collaborate well with outside experts.
The staff is welcoming and friendly, and they build trusting bonds with the kids.
To make kids feel safe, staff members provide good levels of care.
Children receive excellent instruction, especially in the areas of language and communication.
Assessments of the safety risks are done on a regular basis to make sure the equipment and environment are appropriate.
