From the Eagley School House Nursery 2
The Hough Lane, Eagley, New School House was constructed in 1795 at a time when the neighbourhood was just beginning to experience industrial and commercial growth.
The following year, construction began on the schoolhouse and a separate residence for the schoolmaster.
Up until 1852, when Eagley Mills funded for a new school to be established in what is now known as School Street, the Hough Lane School served the neighbourhood effectively.
After being operated as an infants school for many years, The Hough Lane School was eventually purchased and transformed into a private property.
When Julie Robinson (the proprietor) bought the land and started Eagley School House Nursery 1, the circle was complete.
When Eagley School House Nursery 1 first opened its doors in 2003, it offered a warm, safe, and loving environment where kids could grow and parents could feel at ease.
The Eagley Way provides caring, secure environments where each child will be stimulated by their surroundings and consequently they will develop in order to provide the absolute best childcare from birth to five years of age.
In the spring of 2012, Julie and Martin opened Eagley School House Nursery 2, adhering to the same philosophy as its predecessor and consistently exceeding parents' expectations.
