To understand more about what has made us unique since 1995, please read the sections below titled Our Philosophy and Our History. We are aware of the difficulty and degree of confidence needed when entrusting your child to the care of others.
Therefore, picking the best nursery is both a crucial and challenging choice. '
As a result, our only form of "promotion" is word-of-mouth recommendation, which has alone meant that throughout the years, the nursery has cared for a large number of children from the local community as well as resulted in parents wishing to bring their children here from further afield.
Sheila and Richard Seed founded the Didsbury Village Day Nursery in 1995.
Sheila was dissatisfied with the quality of childcare offered in the area after spending 17 years working as a B.Ed. professional teaching early years age groups in schools. She therefore set out to establish a nursery with standards so high that she herself would be content to leave her own child there.
The nursery was founded and continues to operate on this fundamental tenet.
The only way we can continue to provide generations of children in the community with daycare that meets our high standards is by hiring nursery experts who share our philosophy and passion for quality childcare.
