The mission of Cygnets Preschool is to provide exceptional childcare that meets each child's unique requirements, fosters self-esteem, curiosity, cultural variety, and equal opportunity, all while fostering the development of each child to the fullest extent possible.
Children learn through trial, inquiry, and investigation by actively uncovering concepts at their own pace when they are given a safe, secure, and engaging setting with the chance to engage in some adult-directed and some self-initiated activities in small/large groups.
We provide high standards of learning and teaching through the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), building on and extending the children's interests through play, in order to give all kids the knowledge, skills, and understanding they need to be secure, inquisitive, curious, independent learners and have an impact on their broader thinking.
Our goal is to raise responsible, resilient kids who welcome challenges and feel loved, valued, fulfilled, protected, and healthy.
Memorable educational experiences help our kids retain knowledge, put skills to use, and create connections between concepts.
As a result, our kids leave Cygnets with a growing sense of independence.
Every kid has strengths, and we believe that each child should be given the opportunity to develop those skills at the pace that is best for them.
As we respond effectively to the needs of our kids, parents/caregivers, staff, and community members, we respect individual needs and diversity.
Each youngster will be encouraged to participate in activities that will help them hone abilities in which they are less confident while also giving them the impression that they are all-arounders who can do anything and love it.
Each and every child in our care should feel loved, safe, and appreciated for who they are and who they aspire to be. We are aware of the enormous and vital developmental journey a child experiences throughout this crucial period of their life.
To achieve this goal, every child is known by their key person on a level where there is a unique connection and there is verbal and nonverbal communication. We will work to continuously anticipate the child's development and learning needs and continue to recognise and value the impact of positive input at this early stage of their lives.
