The purpose of this information is to teach students, parents, and other caregivers on what may be expected from remote education when local or national regulations demand that entire cohorts (or bubbles) stay at home.

What may my child anticipate from home-based quick remote education?
Upon any closure, our remote learning option is prepared to be put into use.
How will you help my child receive remote education if we don't have digital or online access at home?
We promote and encourage remote learning for all of our students.
For some topics, such as those in the humanities and sciences, a link to a video lesson may occasionally be provided (e.g. Oak National Academy lessons).

What are your expectations for my child's participation and the home assistance we, as parents and caregivers, should offer?
In order to accommodate classes that include live sessions, parents and caregivers are recommended to establish a schedule with their children.

Google Classroom keeps track of all student work, both completed and unfinished.
Every day, all work is evaluated by the class instructor and/or partner teachers.
Quizzes in Google Classroom are another tool teachers utilise to provide students feedback.
How will you collaborate with me to enable my child, who need additional support from family members, to attend distance learning?
Home learning is easily explained to parents and other caregivers so that they can explain it to their child.
The work set is on one platform so that parents can simply find all they need for their child's education.
A child may occasionally receive activities that use paper-based learning when appropriate or necessary.
These will either be placed out or an adult pick-up time will be scheduled.
Children with special needs have had their needs taken into consideration when planning and adapting activities.
We'll schedule a time for pick-up from school.
Simple learning objectives for every activity that parents and caregivers can be aware of and use to guide their kids.
How remote education is offered will probably differ from the strategy for full groups in situations where individual students need to isolate themselves but the majority of their peer group is still present in the classroom.
