Since 2010, Clavering & Arkesden Preschool, which was founded in 1963, has been housed in a specially constructed structure on the grounds of Clavering Primary School.
We have improved our services over time by creating and redesigning our classroom layout, which allows kids to interact at their best. We established a forest school so that our pesky pixies could establish a bond with nature. Our devoted employees, known as the "Ladies in Blue," are committed and motivated and promote independence, emotional wellbeing, and empathy. Together, our excellent committee of volunteers plans and develops options for fundraising while also keeping an eye on the efficient operation of the preschool. All things considered, the ingredients were there to create an exceptional setting in a lovely village environment.
At Clavering and Arkesden Preschool, we support outdoor education. Regarding self-worth, self-actualization, and self-esteem, we think it is very crucial. Children are allowed to develop their critical thinking skills by constantly evaluating their experiences and making little adjustments for their own personal enjoyment and safety. They are motivated and inspired to be active in their learning by interacting with it, investigating, and playing about with all of the possibilities by the supportive atmosphere both inside and outside. They are in a setting where it is impossible to make a mistake and where being curious is valued. Friendships, a sense of belonging, and teamwork can be established through co-creating experiences. We value one another and feel valued in return. There are opportunities for research and experimentation everywhere we look.
Your children will receive experiences that support each of the seven early years curriculum areas while they are in preschool, and a learning log that documents their progress will be created.
