From the Churchill Summer Camps
Throughout the summer, Churchill Summer Camps offers multi-activity camps that are approved by Ofsted for kids ages 4 to 14. We offer a wide variety of over 30 activities to suit all ages and interests, making us more than just a sports camp. All employees have undergone DBS checks and are qualified to conduct the wide range of operations we provide. They are hired from both local and distant universities and teacher preparation programmes. We prefer to have a mix of certified teachers, playgroup workers, sports instructors, and teacher training grads. Many of our employees come back to work with us year after year, and we always do interviews with new hires before offering them a position. Our day programmes provide kids a wonderful chance to meet new people and try out new things in a secure setting with caring and knowledgeable staff members. We take great pleasure in the calibre of our childcare and our superior staff-to-client ratios. Why not include your youngster in the excitement and give them a holiday to remember? Since we first opened in 1989, we have been providing summer camps for 32 years, and more than 13,000 kids have participated. Many families also visit year after year. Brian and Sue Churchill founded and initially ran the business. I managed the camp for 17 years, and my name is John Jones. I was thrilled to succeed Brian and Sue in managing the camps in 2009 with the help of my wife, Judith. Our four children—our son Dominic and daughter Lucy are still involved—all attended the camps and worked there.
