From the Christopher Robin Day Nursery
A tiny, independent nursery in Surrey called Christopher Robin specialises in caring for kids from birth to five years old.
Our goal is to fill every day at the nursery with enjoyment, amazement, challenges, opportunities, and opportunities for growth.
By building environments that foster curiosity and promote a lifetime love of discovery and inquiry, we put the ideas of Montessori practise into action and help everyone develop into joyful, self-assured, competent, and resilient learners.
Mother of five Penny Owen spent the majority of her early years in the Middle East.
Deborah Penny began working for Christopher Robin Day Nurseries in February 2002 as an Area Manager. In 2021, she was promoted to Director of Childcare and Education, a position she genuinely enjoys because it enables her to collaborate with the nurseries' incredibly committed staff members and, of course, the kids who attend them.
Deborah is a Montessori Evaluation and Accreditation Board assessor as well.
We support one another and collaborate with one another, which fosters a sense of community among all five nurseries.
As a result of feeling like a member of the Christopher Robin family, employees are more inclined to apply for advancements within the organisation.
