a Jesmond-based children's musical theatre company serving the North Eastern region. Theatrical knowledge, performance skills, and social skills may all be developed by youngsters through our theatre school, classes, and school holiday show weeks as they enjoy themselves doing what they love. Through performing arts, we foster confidence in youngsters aged 4 to 16. No prior experience is necessary, and everyone is welcome. We stand out from the competition because of the unique way we teach and care for the kids. Chimney Sweep fosters a family environment and is a dynamic social hub, whether they want to sometimes dunk their toes in or totally immerse themselves. Our talented teachers and staff serve as inspiring role models for the kids who still act, write, and direct. All employees have upgraded D.B.S. clearances. Children from Chimney Sweep have benefited from theatre opportunities and jobs because to our contacts and network. For instance, performances at places like the Miller Theatre, Mill Tyne Theatre, Sage Gateshead, and Theatre Royal Newcastle, to name a few. Some of our long-standing members are now contributing to the instruction of activities and classes and finishing their Duke of Edinburgh certification with us.
