Aged 16-30? Send in your Green New Deal Rising Leadership Program application as soon as possible. For young people who want to develop their talents and take on leadership roles in the struggle for justice and a safe environment, there is the Leadership Programme, a 6-month training course that is free and fully supported. We are looking for young people (between the ages of 16 and 30) to join the programme in ten different UK towns and cities, including Wakefield. Not 16 to 30, but you know someone who is? Encourage them to apply by sending them the link to the application form! . The programme is intended for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, in particular persons of colour, immigrants, people from working-class origins, people who are disabled or neurodivergent, and young carers. You only need desire and energy to apply; no experience is necessary. It provides the chance and support to organise for social justice and the environment with other young people in your community during two residential training weekends with leading campaigners. Although every effort is taken to ensure that the material is correct and current, some information may change.
