From the Chestnut@Woodgrange
In the grounds of Woodgrange Infant School, we inaugurated the Woodgrange Nursery in August 2007. In two rooms at the purpose-built Chestnut Woodgrange Nursery, we can accommodate 44 kids between the ages of 2 and 5 every session. We offer a wide, open outdoor area where the kids may play and study. They can also connect with each classroom to take advantage of outside chances to practise their language and social skills. For children who attend Godwin Juniors and Woodgrange Infant School, we provide wraparound care in the form of an afterschool programme for both schools and a breakfast club from 8 to 9 a.m. (3.30-6.30pm). We also offer a vacation club throughout the summer, providing a range of activities both indoors and outside from 8 am to 6.30 pm. For kids who attend Woodgrange Infant School's nursery as part of their 15 or 30 hours of free education, we also provide AM and PM wraparound sessions. Our classroom provides a secure environment where children ages 2 to 5 may play and explore while learning with materials that are at a child-friendly height. The staff makes sure that activities are created and modified to meet the developmental stage of every child in the session because there are a variety of ages in one room. They also provide encouragement and support to the children during their stay at the nursery. With their own outside play area in the yard, children may enjoy unrestricted outdoor play with a range of climbing structures, a Windy house, bikes, scooters, and a mud kitchen in a safe and fascinating setting. Additionally, we provide a place for messy entertainment like art projects and sensory objects.
