From the Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery
Jo Southerton founded Cheeky Monkeys Nursery in 2000 at Spring Road.
There were 45 children in the nursery, ranging in age from 0 to 5.
The nursery garnered a lot of acclaim, we gained knowledge, and in 2010 and 2013 we received two great Ofsted ratings.
We decided to start a small after-school and summer club in 2012 in response to repeated requests for additional childcare.
Our magnificent new facility, which follows the outstanding routine we have established at Spring Road, offers Nursery, after-school, and holiday club care for 51 weeks of the year.
The March 2017 Ofsted report, which was given a Good rating, reflects this.
As a mother of three, it has always been my dream to own a nursery where I can offer young children high-quality daycare and a safe setting in which they can grow and learn.
I was able to open Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery in Edgbaston in the year 2000.
I pursued this education till I graduated with a master's degree in early childhood studies in 2016.
Due to the popularity of our Edgbaston location, we expanded in the beginning of 2016 and opened Cheeky Monkeys Childcare Center, which serves kids from 2 to 11 years old.
