Being given the chance to oversee Charters Ancaster Nursery and Forest School during this exciting time of expansion and development makes me very happy. Since joining the Charters Ancaster team ten years ago, I have progressed through a variety of positions, including lunchtime assistant, practitioner, and room leader. In order to advance the nursery, I started the introduction of a baby room in September 2018. The sensation that everyone has as they enter through the door and that they are being welcomed home by family is what I love about Charters Ancaster. I firmly believe that hygge is the way of the future. The Danish concept of hygge, which cannot be directly translated into English, is about appreciating and enjoying the small pleasures in life. For the kids, this means making their life happier, more amazing, and more cosy. We are fortunate to have such a fantastic setting to spread this novel idea.
