From the Chapeltown Community Nursery
At Chapeltown Community Nursery, we want to provide a secure atmosphere where our kids can flourish. Since our organization's founding in 1973, families have trusted us. While our organisation is run by parents, our kids manage the day-to-day operations. With resources specifically catered to our communities, we are dedicated to serve Leeds 7 and have an attitude that is inspired by children.
We are certain that every kid in our care has the same right to take advantage of everything we have to offer and strive to realise their full potential. Chapeltown Community Nursery is a non-profit nursery that is run by a volunteer management committee and is owned by the local community.
We were founded in 1973 as a playgroup, but when local families' requirements changed, we transformed into a nursery and started operating out of our purpose-built facility on Reginald Street in 1992.
Along with operating a nursery, our goal is to make our facility available to the public when we are not using it and to put nursery profits and other fundraising efforts toward community services.
