Cdyp

The CHILD Deaf Youth Project (CDYP) offers social and educational activities in a secure, welcoming setting. We provide adolescents with chances to learn new skills and obstacles to overcome in order to boost their self-esteem and confidence. Youth will feel less alone by routinely interacting with their peers, and independence is promoted by letting them choose what they want to do on their own. They are able to do this because they are surrounded by Deaf people who can communicate with them and knowledgeable staff members who are both Deaf and hearing.
