Buddies Out of School Club

Activities: Children take part in an excellent array of fun activities that build on their knowledge and social interactions.

Skills , Knowledge and Behavior: Staff help children to practise their ball skills as they pass the ball between each other.

Communication: Staff keep parents informed about their child's time at the out-of-school club.

Programs and Resources: Staff liaise with parents and teachers to provide care and support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities. They offer inclusive care and gather all relevant information from parents prior to their children starting.

Welcoming and Professional Staff: Staff know how to create positive relationships and a pleasant environment, where children are happy and settled. They encourage children to talk openly to each other and to staff.

Safeguarding Training: All staff hold a paediatric first-aid certificate to ensure that they can respond appropriately to any accidents.

Play and Learning Integration: Staff complete regular observations of children to ensure that their needs and well-being are being met.

Child Safety Management: Staff understand their roles and responsibilities to keep children safe in their care. They complete comprehensive records of any accidents and/or incidents, which they share with parents.

Children's Safety and Security: Children are happy to attend this out-of-school club. They have a wonderful relationship with staff, who know them well.

Happiness and Settling: They encourage children to talk openly to each other and to staff. Staff know how to support children's emotional well-being.

Nutritional Menu: Staff provide children with a healthy and nutritious snack to choose.
