From the Bright Stars Nursery
A facility called Bright Stars Nursery is located in Sheffield's Grimesthorpe neighbourhood. Our nursery is housed inside Yorkshire Muslim Academy, a community centre.
At Bright Stars Nursery, we think that every child should be inspired and helped to develop into a capable student from an early age. A resilient, self-assured child who is secure in their Islamic and British identities
Our daycare has an Islamic philosophy, but we also value diversity and have an inclusive stance; kids from all racial and religious origins are welcome here. Our kids come from a variety of backgrounds. We have employees who can accommodate for the majority of the eight to nine various languages that are spoken in the nursery.
There are roughly ten employees here. The other manager has an Early Years Foundation degree, and all of the practitioners are at least level 3. One of the managers is NNEB trained and has over 20 years of experience working in various early years services. We have a Business Support Officer that assists the team with administrative tasks a few days a week. To maintain high standards of hygiene, a cleaner comes in every evening after the kids have left.
Bright Stars is open five days a week during the academic year from 9 am to 3 pm.
