From the Breaston Pre-School CIO
At Breaston Pre-School, we think that every child deserves the very best start in life.
Our SENCO (Special Educational Requirements Co-Ordinator) at Pre-School, Joanne Morris, has received training to assist the key person, child, and families in order to ensure that the child's specific needs are fulfilled.
The Pre-School SENCO will collaborate with the key person to develop individualised plans for every child that are based on their skills and interests.
Regular reviews of the child's key person's, SENCO's, and parents' goals and activities will take place.
This is done to make sure the youngster is receiving the greatest care possible in the environment.
To make sure that your kid has a joyful time transitioning into pre-school, you may talk with either Joanne or Sarah about how to personalise the process to the child's requirements.
When the time comes, making the transition to school can be a frightening thought, but we, as a preschool, will do everything we can to facilitate the process as much as we can.
Pre-diagnosis of non-verbal Autism led us to search for a nursery environment, and we discovered that Breaston Pre-School was the greatest option for our kid in the neighbourhood.
