Bramble Bears

We at Bramble Bears think that kids learn best by playing. By giving the kids opportunities and activities they'll enjoy, we use these playtime activities to deepen and expand the learning of the kids. The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), a piece of government legislation that all OFSTED registered childminders, preschools, nurseries, and reception classrooms are supposed to go by, provides the framework around which the activities and interests are formed. provides children with a safe setting in which they can take risks and learn from their mistakes. gives every youngster the chance to put new skills they have learned from peers and own initiative into practise. allows every youngster to learn about their surroundings (Local community and wider environment). letting each child focus on the process of learning rather than the result. The Office for Standards in Education, Children's Services, and Skills, or Ofsted, inspects and regulates those that provide education and skills training to students of all ages as well as services that care for children and young people. Ofsted inspects Bramble Bears every three years, with the most recent inspection occurring on 12 December 2016. We are overjoyed to announce that our playgroup received a GOOD rating. Although the days at Bramble Bears are variable because we want to make sure we are engaging the children's interests, the flow of the day is depicted below. (If needed to pick up siblings from school, we do open the door for parents to pick up their children at 2.45.)
