From the Benenden Preschool
A non-profit organisation, Benenden Pre-school depends on the active participation of parents and caregivers.
We have an AGM in May and are managed by a dedicated committee of Trustees. We are registered with Ofsted for full-day care, members of the Early Years Alliance, and registered charities.
The primary preschool feeder and close connections for Benenden CE Primary School.
We are quite fortunate to have our preschool in such a lovely structure.
Due to its commanding location at the crossroads, this was constructed in 1881 for Lord Cranbrook as a Working Men's Institute and was utilised by the Home Guard in 1940.
In spite of the fact that the pre-school has been there for more than 40 years, the structure as a whole has been around for more than 125 years.
We have a wonderful, safe garden with a lawned area for running around or playing games, as well as a play space with a climbing frame, sandbox, and playhouse.
We advise parents to park their cars at the rear parking lot of the structure.
Benenden Pre-school is a warm, familial-focused environment where children can learn through play, explore and interact with resources both inside and outside, focus intently, and think creatively.
We provide a welcoming, upbeat, and stimulating environment where each child is valued for who they are and where committed staff members who work closely with parents support each child's development of independence and self-confidence as well as their ongoing individual progress in the Prime and Specific areas of the EYFS.
