From the Bebright Preschool
Our hybrid curriculum, which is based on Birth to 5 Matters and the EYFS curriculum and supported by theories from Bowlby's attachment theory, Maslow's hierarchy of needs, and Vygotsky's scaffolding philosophy, helps to achieve this.
At BeBright Pre School, our goal is to spark children's curiosity and imagination so they may learn independently and fully engage in play.
As a result, deep and meaningful learning will unavoidably occur, with an early childhood educator always on hand to scaffold their learning at that particular time.
The child is at the centre of our curriculum, and in order for them to develop, we recognise how crucial it is for them to feel safe and secure before they can play.
The significant emphasis on child-initiated play at BeBright Preschool enables us to make plans on the spot as teaching opportunities present themselves.
We employ paper-based learning journeys, which your child will take ownership of from the very first day, to record a child's significant memories at pre-school.
Since you are your child's first teacher, we wholeheartedly support parent and caregiver involvement in the educational process. Through transition visits and our parent charter, we also promote a solid working relationship with our parents and caregivers.
We use Microsoft Tems, an interactive tool for parents and carers to engage with other families, speak to their child's key person, and a whole host of information on how to support your child in their most crucial stage of their early years education. Parenta is an online application that will allow you to receive important information about your child.
We completely understand how crucial it is to choose the right early years setting for your child.
All kids can participate in a certified forest school programme starting in September 2021.
