Barrow Pre-School Playgroup | Ofsted Reports, Reviews (2025)

From January 2022, hours have been expanded! Schedule a session for Monday and Friday in the afternoon.
We are a Pre-School Playgroup for 2-4 year olds with an Ofsted registration that is located in the Methodist Church Hall in Barrow Upon Soar. We are a nonprofit that was founded in 1971 and are managed by a management committee made up of chosen staff members and parents.
The atmosphere at our playgroup is welcoming and accepting. Children are encouraged to fulfil their potential by learning and discovering through play in our welcoming and nurturing atmosphere.
We provide a variety of interesting and innovative learning options that support the kids' interests. Our enthusiastic and committed team supports each child's unique needs and development by treating each kid as an individual.
For children aged two, three, and four, we provide sponsored spots. In the academic year, we are open Monday through Friday. Children who spend the entire day bring a lunch.
We want to give kids a secure and engaging atmosphere where they may develop fully via play-based learning.
We are considerate of each child's unique requirements and let them grow at their own pace. We firmly think that every child's abilities, character traits, and everything else that makes them special should be celebrated.
To us, it is crucial that every kid feels confident, safe, and content. The staff is kind and compassionate, taking the time to get to know each kid and fostering their mental health.
With the help of our child-led learning experiences, we hope to encourage inquiry and curiosity. We constantly encourage children's current interests, ideas, and fascinations throughout each session, as well as their needs and desired future steps.
