A volunteer management committee is in charge of running Bamford Pre-school; they are chosen yearly at our AGM in November.
The elected committee members are mostly pre-school parents or caregivers, but we welcome anybody from the neighbourhood who wants to contribute.
Hugo, a student at Bamford Primary School, has a mother named Faye Ollerenshaw, the chair.
The entire staff is extremely talented and committed to their work.
I've been a member of the committee for a while, and I'm now assuming the chair.
Magnus Nordhausen Scholes is the father of Jeremy Scholes, the treasurer.
Ted started preschool at the age of 2.5 and has since cherished every moment!
Each member of the preschool staff is amazing, and Ted has improved greatly since enrolling and is always eager to attend.
Freya Hoggarth is a committee member and the mother of Freddie, who is currently in first grade, and Poppy, who is in preschool.
All of the children's requirements are expertly met by the personnel, who also make learning enjoyable.
The preschool and primary school have a tight relationship as well.
I have been on the committee for a number of years, and it has been a wonderful opportunity to get to know new parents and become a part of a supportive group.
Tordy Fell, member of the committee Preschool offers lots of possibilities for outdoor exploration and is adaptable when it comes to addressing the needs of different children via play, so I was eager for Leo to experience it.
If any parents have a few extra hours each month and would like to join the team, please speak to one of the committee members for more information as we are constantly looking for new recruits.
