From the Ashton Keynes Pre-School
We are a village preschool that can accommodate up to 18 kids every session, ranging in age from 2 years, 6 months to 5 years. Most of the students come from Ashton Keynes, however others are from the nearby communities.
Play-based learning is what we prioritise. Children gain confidence and the ability to think independently and learn by being given the reins during play and control over their own experiences. We recognise the individual and diverse ways that children develop and learn, and plan for each child.
We have strong connections with the village school, and the kids who will be advancing to it in the upcoming September come over frequently during the summer term to assist them get ready. Our most recent Ofsted inspection resulted in a GOOD grade; to read the entire statement, please visit the Ofsted webpage. We also received the Bristol Standards Quality Assurance certificate.
Currently, a child who turns 3 before the start of the school year is eligible for 15 hours of government assistance to attend a licenced childcare facility. If your kid has not reached age 3 or is presently using their entire grant allotment in another setting, please contact us for information on our fees.
